It's beginning to look a lot like christm..wait no, no its not.

So for this Christmas, it did not feel like Christmas at all. The temperatures were in the 50s and 60s and now it is raining. But as always, Christmas was yet again my favorite day of the year. I love being with family and basically eating until I look prego. I got exactly what I wanted plus some. It was a very good day indeed.

Since neither of us got our senior pictures done yet, my friend Savannah and I decided to get them done together by Denise Bicksler. He did a great job! He is still getting started in the business, or so i've heard, but I think they turned out really well! I never thought this day would come where I would be taking my senior pictures :O

personal fitness is a NO

so we got to pick our gym class this year...i picked personal fitness. it is SUPPOSED to be yoga, pilates, and cardio every once in awhile. i have it second semester, and everyone who is taking it now is saying how they do cardio every other day. i hate running. i hate running more than moms who hate dieting. it just doesnt work for me. wish me luck trying to switch that class to dual sports. please mrs. miller? I BEG OF YOU.

Senior year has officially started yesterday and school has already gotten cancelled. Most of the roads are flooded due to extreme RAIN! My classes are good, I only have about 3 legit classes. The others for this semester are ceramics, a study hall, AP portfolio, and yearbook assistant. This year is going to be good, i can already tell! If we ever graduate that is...

My sister is now in Italy. It's noon here but 6 PM there! Crazy. I'm so jealous that she is there eating all of the carbs of pasta and pizza that I should be eating...but I'll let it slide this time.

my italian grandmother, nannie, took the train in from new york last weekend to spend a few days with us. she FINALLY taught us how to make her homemade meatballs and homemade sauce (without leaving any ingredients out this time ;)) Molto buono!

first things first, my hair wrap was taken out due to bumps forming on my scalp all thanks to my too tight of a braid! see how the hair looked after being in a braid for a week? yikes.

this picture is proof that there was a dance party, yes a dance party, at yearbook camp after karaoke night, yes karaoke night, at yearbook camp.

the life of living at gettysburg college for 3 days was not a typical college experience. yes, we slept in dorms and had the routine 3 meals a day in the cafeteria, but there was one minor change. we were at yearbook camp. i am not lying, that exists. i am an editor with my friend savannah, so us two, + rachel and bethany (who are members on our staff) went to see what we could get done. we got a lot done.

wait, 17 isnt too old for hair wraps, right? who cares, look at them, amazing. savannah, emma, and i gave each other hair wraps (really they did all three and i only did one braid. hair wraps are not my specialty) which took about a total of 4 hours. and in those 4 hours, many laughs were exchanged which resulted in that night feeling like the old times. when we would just sit there, talk, and crack up at every little thing said. the only thing that didnt feel like old times? we went to the lyndon diner at about 2 AM. sean was our server, only the best.

savvy girl and i took a much needed visit to tomato pie cafe. so adorable! located in downtown lititz with only the best "tomato pie". granted, probably the only tomato pie, so yes...its the best.
