Mamma Mia

Two weeks ago: Begging.
One week ago: A state of mild depression
Two days ago: Happiest night of my life

Crazy how things can change so easily right? One word: Mia.
Maxie, my 115 lb, 12 year old chocolate lab, was put to sleep two years ago. It was the most tragic day of my life. Seeing her eyes roll back and having her large body fall on top of my two sisters and I was something no one can imagine. It was so painful. After a since her death, I needed a new companion. Both my sisters moved out so it's just my parents and I. Fun, right? Only sometimes.
It all started two weeks ago when I was home alone watching Oprah. I got a phone call from Dani, one of my sisters. Her friends parents dog had puppies. Shih Tzu puppies. They were $375, and just 8 weeks old. This was the perfect opportunity! It opened my mind up to all different kinds of thoughts. My mom was going to visit Dani and then she could bring home the dog because it is exactly 8 weeks old. (Yes, I did my research on Southwest Airlines to how old a dog has to be to travel.)
Brought it up to our parents. Completely opposed to the idea. "We just do NOT want a dog Taylor." I gave them the silent treatment, and it killed me to do that. But I just wanted to show them how much this means to me. Pretty childish, huh? Well, turns out they decided to get me a dog a week before I was a complete child to them. Now I feel bad.
1AM. My parents, cousin Kelly, and Aunt Gail come in. Dad with the video camera. Gail with her camera phone and camera. Kelly with another camera. And my mom with the dog. "What the.." were the first words out of my mouth. They all came in going on a rampage of picture-taking. I was shocked. Before I could even lift my head off of my pillow my mom sets baby Mia onto my bed. I thought I was going to cry. But I didnt. She is so precious. Words can't even describe her. Shortly after I knew I had a dog I say, "I gotta tweet." I am so lame.
Welp, that's my fairytale story! Time to give Mia her first bath now. Pray for me that she cooperates.
p.s. Listen to 'Gypsy' by Shakira.

I Love Him, I Love Him, I Love Him!

Valentines schmalentines. What's so great about Valentines Day anyway? Well, nothing really unless you have someone to share it with. And... I don't. Just like every other year. Haha anyways, this song reminds me of Valentines Day, but in a good way. Not in the "I don't even wanna think about it" way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqp89bkFe8k so check out that video. You proabably heard it before, its a classic! I think they sing it the best in Sister Act too. But i'm gonna go try to heal my wisdom teeth removal, and manage my boredom until 720 tonight for the movie Valentines Day with all my single ladies. Can't wait for that! As of now, dreading the rest of Valentines Day alone! Yay!

Nobody...

understands! I am completely bored out of my mind. This past week has just been one giant downer. First of all I've been creeping to the max, I don't even wanna explain that story. Haha let's just say I found my dream guy! And he is actually not famous! Haha anyways, I am snowed in at my house, with my parents, with nothing to do. I played vice city, which lasted a whole 20 minutes. I've been on the computer many times looking at facebook, twitter, perezhilton.com. youtube, cocoperez, my grades, my email, and online quizzes. Do you know how boring that gets after 6 hours?! OH! I also shoveled, yeah that was a bust. All in all, crappy day. Hopefully I'm going over to Val's soon. Hopefully. I get my wisdom teeth out in two days. Wish me luck, I will post then.

Snowed In

So I literally didn't leave the house all weekend. I didn't even go to work. Sadly enough, today I have to go though. But Valeria, Alyssa, Taylor, Savannah, and Emma all slept over on friday night after we went to see the epic Dear John. It was a real tear-jerker. We came back to my house and pigged out with pierogies, totinos, doritos, salsa and chips, easy-cheese, and more. Emma and Savannah ended up sleeping over Saturday night also, but during the day on Saturday we did something wild, something bone-chilling (literally). We jumped in the snow in our bathing suits. OUCH. It stung so bad but it was SO much fun. All in all it was a pretty good weekend and we even made our own veggie pizza (see recipe below).

Veggie Pizza Recipe -- Get a can of Pillsbury Crescent rolls and roll them out onto a greased baking sheet so the rolls are flat. Cook for 10 minutes. After that spread on pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese. Cut up yellow and orange peppers, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, broccoli, and celery to your desired amount. (Add any veggies you want! Those are just the ones we used) Top off the pizza with all the cut up veggies and some more mozzarella cheese on top of the veggies. Then cook for an additional 5-8 minutes on low so it is only heating it and not cooking it. Enjoy! Serves 4.

Gagagrammys 2010

Anyone else think Lady Gaga killed it last night at the grammys? I'm pretty sure everyone thinks that. To her crazy Armani dress and having a star as an accessory, to her getting thrown into a huge pit of fire, she never ceases to amaze. Pink did an amazing, and I mean AMAZING performance while little JBieber got a little frozen while presenting a Grammy. Oh well, next year you'll do fine 'bb! Beyonce aka Sasha Fierce once again rocked her "bootylicious" body while singing 'If I were A Boy' and 'You Oughta Now'. The twenty year old Taylor 'T Swizzle' Swift took home a whopping four Grammys. She is the youngest person to be awarded with the 'Best Album of the Year' Grammy. All in all, I think the top four ladies of the night, Beyonce, Gaga, Pink, and TSwift had a pretty wonderful night.
