new years eve!

New Years Eve was honestly one of the best times I had with some of my closest friends. There were 18 of us. We all went to Olive Garden, (which let me tell you was not the shortest wait) and then we went back to our friend Jonny's house.

Brandon Flowers.

Brandon Flowers is the lead singer in The Killers. My two sisters, Drew, and I went to see him on November 28th at the electric factory. Ya know that feeling where you just get really hyper and you can't really control yourself because you are so extremely excited? I was that girl. It was me and the 40 year old headbanger man with a ponytail in front of me. Even though the music isn't headbanger-ish...oh well! It was one of the best times of my life and it still feels so surreal that I got to see Brandon Flowers.

is this what i want to do when i leave high school? im thinking about it. im an editor of the yearbook and i love it, i feel like im editing a special magazine! my sisters friend interned at seventeen, teen vogue, and now she works as a graphic designer at michael kors. talk about a dream come true. my friends asked me last night why i am so set on new york and why i dont look anywhere else, things dont happen like they do in new york. i understand where they are coming from cause i am really limiting my options, but i honestly couldnt picture myself anywhere else than that city.

miley

so she went from an innocent hannah montana singing for disney to a "cant be tamed" smoking salvia. interesting. she was going crazy in that video, and she should know by now that pretty much everything that celebrities do get out somehow. although it is legal in california, she has so many fans that will take after her actions and do what she does. now, all because of her, anthony adams, former state assembly man wants to illegalize it all because of that. i bet people are pisssssed. it does seem scary though.

dream job

all i have been doing lately is looking at colleges. like come on, i need to bring my gpa up! its getting there though, just slowly. my advanced composition essay is waiting to be typed, and for some reason its not typing itself. anyways, i have been doing tons of research and digging on www.seventeen.com . im ready for the nyc. i have looked up the video on where seventeen gives you tips to become an intern there. i think i have a lot of potential...hopefully.

the social network

some people may think that facebook is just a way to creep and talk to your friends, at least thats what i thought. when i went to see The Social Network with trey and nick, it blew my mind away. despite the rumors that said it was over-exaggerated (which come on, what movie isnt?), it was pretty up to par from what i know. first of all, mark zuckenburg is in fact the youngest billionaire, but he was rude. he was so intelligent to the point where you feel like you should hide under a rock every time he talked because you cant even think of what to say back to such an intellectual comment. on the other hand, eduardo, who is the co-founder on facebook got jipped majorly. i am IN LOVE with the actor who plays him, andrew garfield. it was said in the movie that mark would of had to write tens of thousands of codes to make this site work, how does that statement alone not make this whole idea of facebook insane? point being, i am in love with this movie to the point where as soon as i got home, i googled everything from the actors to the little tidbits in the movie.
