Bye Bye Miss American Pie is a classic. My all time favorite song :) I know it is over 8 minutes long, but it is the best eight minutes of your day! or 16 minutes, 24 minutes, or 32 minutes, depending on how many times you listen to it. And trust me, it is addicting.

Strawberries and Ice Cream

on a waffle! That is my all time favorite breakfast. All you need are two eggo buttermilk waffles, 3 scoops of turkey hill original vanilla ice cream, and 4 strawberries cut up. Wah la! Masterpiece.

This is epic! Season 2 of Glee starts tonight @ 9:28pm on Fox! I am jumping out of my skin! Almost as much as I did at the New Moon premiere....but not quite. What will happen between Mr. Shu and Emma? OR between Quinn, Puck, and Finn. So much anticipation! So much excitement! Tune in.

Lazy Sunday

Today, my day consists of easy cheese, peanutbutter, ritz crackers, blogs, and seventeen. <3 There was a battle today. Between my mom and a giant bumble bee. So funny. But the bee was scaring me so much while laying out.

Does anyone have any idea how much it sucks to have allergies? I'm allergic to pollen: my number one enemy. It makes my eyes itch, so they look as red as can be. My nose gets stuffy. And worst of all, my throat itches. Whenever I get a huge itchy feeling in my throat, I make this disgusting noise. Well, that's the only thing that keeps me from going completely crazy! I know, it's weird, but why not share it with you. Here is why some people have allergies --

Why do some people have allergies and some people don't? Does it have to do with the immune system? Can you please explain it to me. -- M.L., California

Yes, it does involve the immune system. But, the most important reason some people develop allergies and some don't is thought to be heredity. Preventing exposure in early life seems to decrease the risk of allergies. However new research indicates that exposure to dogs in early life seems to enhance the development of the immune system, thus decreasing the risk the child will develop allergies.

People sometimes tell me they never had allergy symptoms until they moved to a new area. Moving to a new area may seem to trigger the immune response, but authorities believe these people already had hereditary tendency toward allergies.
