Body Image Gone Bad Terrible!
I'll be the first to admit, I'm too hard on my body. Whether it's my thighs, my arms, or my stomach, nothing is ever "just right" for me. And I know for a fact everyone, mostly girls, judges their body. Let it go! You're never going to be perfect, don't take that the wrong way. Many, many people, I'm sure, do blogs about this topic, and I'm just adding to the list. I just want people to know that it's wrong and you should not be so harshly judgmental on yourself. I read in a magazine that you should pick out the pros about your body, not the cons. You will feel much better about yourself. So try it! Look in the mirror, grab some post-it notes, write down the positive aspects of your body, and stick them to the mirror! You will feel much better when you wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and knowing that there are many great things about your bod.

Is Hummus Healthy?
Hello lovelies! Everyday at lunch I get a pack of hummus, and it comes with pretzel crisps. I am actually eating it right now also. In the most simple form I can put it in...I'm obsessed. The kind at lunch has 280 calories and 200 of them are fat. That got me thinking. I thought hummus was healthy for you, so why are there 200 fat calories? Turns out, that fat is actually needed, healthy fat. Fat does not always hurt you.
As for hummus, it can be part of a good diet. It has a lot of fiber: an ounce of hummus has 7% of your daily fiber. If you're eating it as a main-dish (like a vegetarian might), a cup of the stuff has 60% of your daily fiber, about 1/3 of your iron, and 20 grams of protein, as well as various important minerals. However, it's also very high in fat: 24 grams. There's nothing inherently wrong with fat, especially since some of it comes from olive oil, which has some other very useful properties. It just means that a cup of hummus is 415 calories, about 1/4 to 1/5 of your daily allotment if calories (depending on how active you are, your gender, your size, etc.)
As for all my mayoholics, lay off on overloading the mayo!...
Mayo is usually used in somewhat larger quantities, and it's essentially pure fat. A packet of mayo (about a tablespoon) contains a whopping 100 calories, and nothing else of nutritional value. 100 calories doesn't have to be a diet-breaker, but it puts a crimp in your ability to obtain all of the other nutrients you need without eating too many calories.

New Name
Last night I was in bed, watching TV. I watched The Buried Life, which was beyond amazing, and then I watched My Life as Liz. I loved it!! I decided to change the name of my blog because of that show. I love it so much. Liz seems like such an awesome girl, and she is totally different from everyone. That's what I like about her. She used to be one of the popular girls, but then she got booted out of their clique, and she is still strong. I highly recommend watching that show. She makes you feel so good no matter who you are; the jock, the geek, the barbie-dolls of society, or just you.

Sisterly Love
Welp, this is my second day doing a blog. It's really confusing actually. But I want to take this time to talk about my sisters. I know this doesnt have anything to do with photography though, but my sister is leaving to go back to college today. It really is a whole different atmosphere without her here, or my oldest sister too. It gets boring around the house. I know everyone gets in fights with their family, but try not to. My teacher had a death in his family January 2, and you never know what could have been his last words to him. Try not to get mad at people so easily, and you will feel so much better. You NEVER know what can happen, so lets not risk feeling 100% worse if you said something you now regret. Im not implying any deaths or anything, haha but you just never know. My two sisters are two of the best people I know and I never want anything bad to happen to them, ever. I love them so much.

The Start of A Passion
During the last couple years, I have been obsessed with celebrities and the Hollywood "glam" life. Looking at pictures and going through blogs have taken up most of my day. I love the entertainment business, but since I am not talented in that field, I have tried something close to it, well I think it's pretty close. It has to do with the Arts, and I mean so do things in the entertainment business like acting and singing...anyways, I have been having fun with photography. It's a great way to just let loose. I got a Nikon D3000 camera for christmas and I can not stop taking pictures. It is definitely one of my hobbies, but I am not sure if I should take it to the next level as a career when I grow up. I will post some pictures I take, but I wanna hear what you guys think about them. Let me know, that would be cool.
